Kick-Command
– Reactivated the kick command for league games. If a player is 5 (or more) minutes AFK, any player from the same team can start a kick-vote.
– All other players from the same team (except the AFK-player) need to confirm the vote to kick the player

– Fixed the buff tooltips of the Pusher auras stating the wrong armor amount

Minimum gametime for a valid league game
The minimum gametime required for a valid league game has been reduced from 5 to 1.5 minutes

Rank & ELO-gain
Further adjusted the calculation regarding ELO-gain making it easier to climb ranks towards Titan

Mid Lane
– added two new ramps (left and right to the shop) to make it easier for ground tanks to roam the middle
– Replaced two Commander creeps with four new Pathfinder creeps
– Pathfinder has the half the life, damage and bounty as the Commander, more range (225 -> 675), it’s flying and each grants 10 XP (so a total of 40 XP compared to 24 before)

Dev Note:
By introducing this creep we hope to have a more balanced XP-disribution between the Lanes and Mid. This means there is about 13% more XP available in Mid now.
This is only really relevant from early to mid game, since after that the XP from tank kills becomes more important, so we don’t expect a major influence for the whole game.

      – If the team loses a CP, the creep-buff gets removed
      – While the team does not hold all CPs, they lose 1 buff (aka 30%) every 5 min until they get all CPs back
      – With the command -tech you can check your current Control-Point-Holder bonus
      – You can recognize the buffed creeps by their size – they are slightly bigger
      – Only creeps spawned by the force (base) get buffed. This does NOT include creeps spawned by a player or a player-owned Troop-Fatory

Merry Christmas

Dear community,

as you problably noticed, it has been quiet around the development of Battle Tanks. The sad truth is, our time available for this project and our motivation to work on it are not what they used to be. So we were faced with a decision to make. Battle Tanks exists for almost as long as the Frozen Throne expansion of Warcraft 3 (which makes it almost 12 years old). So seeing it simply die is not worthy of the game.

So we decided the following:

Ideally this would mean that everyone would contribute towards a new version by submitting his / her work to a central repository. The proprietary nature of the Warcraft map files makes this harder than I’d like. So for now, we will only make the map available for everyone, so you guys can see what the map looks like in its current form.

If anyone has questions or suggestions regarding this map feel free (and encouraged!) to voice them (Forum).

The aim – at this time – is to take the input of the community and maybe continue the development in a way that is feasible.
Of course, if someone wants to make a mod or use parts of the code for his own project, he / she is free to do so – it’s open source after all. But we would still like to get credit, if substantial parts of the map have been used (as you can see in the code itself).

Anyway, we hope the map helps some of you and maybe some of you help (the development of) the map.
